the steering-wheel game

The fastest game in the deck. Hold an imaginary wheel. Pass the chain left or right. Don't fumble.

THE COMMANDS

  • VROOM — turn the wheel left, action passes to the player on your left.
  • SKERT — turn the wheel right, action passes to the player on your right.
  • VROOM VROOM — left twice, skips one player on your left.
  • SKERT SKERT — right twice, skips one player on your right.

THE RULES

  • · Maximum two in a row. No "vroom vroom vroom" — you're not in a movie.
  • · The chain never stops. The moment you receive it, you act.
  • · Hands stay on the wheel. Always.

YOU DRINK IF…

  • · You hesitate.
  • · You fumble the direction (turn left, say SKERT).
  • · You break the chain.
  • · You drop the wheel.
STRATEGY

Skips disorient. If two players are stuck in a vroom-skert ping-pong, a well-timed double sends the chain across the table and resets everything. The longer the chain runs, the more chaotic it gets — and the higher the chance of a fumble.
